Bookings
Speekhout Farm
is private property and thus before making a booking,
acknowledge that we like the quietude so much here, that we
prefer it to remain like that, even when we receive guests.
Therefore, no audible music, loud shouting, noise, heavy
drinking-partying or anything else that disturbs the peace
on our farm at any time or any manner, is welcome or
permitted whatsoever. Failure to comply will necessitate us
to withdraw right of admission with immediate
effect
Once we have
received your booking request, our banking details will be
emailed or Whatsapped to you if you provided a
cellphone number
Please do consider us as
a very small concern - should you cancel before you
arrive or depart early, you are welcome to replace your own
booking with another booking of the same value, or send
somebody in your place, or request a gift voucher. Refunds
are not possible because we are a running concern, meaning
we pay staff and systems that continues to operate daily.
You are so welcome to make a re-booking within one year
from the date of your original booking date, according
to availability. I am here to assist you with your getaway
planning, and make that happen in a good way.
If you take less days than booked, especially over long
weekends, public holidays and high holiday periods, you are
due for the full booking’s balance as we could have taken
bookings for the no-show days. Once you have arrived and
want to exchange one farm stay for another, again there are
no refunds. Since we bought the farm, it has been our
policy, its not a Covid thing, it is just the reality of our
lives out here. Help us to make your stay fantastic!
50% deposit is payable within 3 -5 days to secure a
reservation
During peak
holiday seasons bookings will need to be paid 2 weeks in
advance before arrival
Guests who
prefer not to pay the balance in cash are welcome to deposit
the full amount before their stay.
